While most wild creatures normally flee from human presence, this cute koala decided to visit a family property not far from its home in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. . Thankfully, the special encounter was captured on camera, leaving some people heart-wrenching—heartwarming scenes. The family was enjoying a sunny day at their backyard pool when they spotted a koala climbing down a tree next to them.
The unusual guest went straight to the pool and began to drink some water with its tiny feet. It didn’t seem to mind at all because a woman was swimming there. What’s more, the pretty little thing seemed so comfortable when a woman approached it. She even gave it some water from her hand and the koala happily accepted it.
As this still wasn’t adorable enough, the woman came out of the pool to share an incredibly tender moment with the cute animal that visited her facility. Looking at the two having such an intimate moment, it seems the only reason this koala decided to visit them was for a few hugs and kisses. And its intentions have paid off!
After a few minutes, the unusual visitor returned while climbing some stairs and they climbed the tree, leaving the yard! However, it wasn’t the last time the adorable koala visited these friendly people. “Our lovely little neighbor regularly visits our home in the Adelaide hills,” the family wrote. “Usually this little guy just sat in the tree in our pool area without being confused by anything around but this time he really wanted to come and make friends.”
