Mr. Crowther said on his personal website that he was born in Luxembourg to an English father and a German mother. He is currently a correspondent for the Associated Press in Washington, D.C., specializing in US diplomacy, politics and foreign policy, sometimes traveling the world to cover international news.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Crowther graduated from King’s College London, UK, and then earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of the Arts London.
