Following the loss of her grandmother, Madilyn Bailey wrote an original song titled “Red Ribbon.” Madilyn is keeping her grandmother’s memory alive with this stunning performance!
Madilyn Bailey has decided to sing her original song “Red Ribbon” in tonight’s America’s Got Talent semifinals. While it wasn’t the most technically perfect performance, Madilyn put her heart into it. The song was written after her grandmother died from cancer. Howie Mandel’s comments after the performance were totally unwarranted.
Howie told her ‘that was kind of touching’ but that he didn’t think it was ‘anything’ and called it disappointing.
Heidi told her ‘you nailed it’ and ‘you finally won me over.’ Simon told Howie that he was talking out of his ‘a**’ and told Madilyn that her song was beautiful and he had so much respect for her.
After the performance, fans defended Madilyn on social media. Many wish Mandel would remember that Madilyn is not only a singer, she’s a song-writer as well.
