Lauren Murray hits out at ‘horrific’ X Factor filming as she discusses moving out of the ‘prison-like’ house
X Factor favourite Lauren Murray has revealed her reasons for leaving the contestants’ house and also made her feelings clear on the Six Chair Challenge that injected terror into the hopefuls.
The star recently packed her bags and walked out of the house, as is her entitlement, and admits that she found being filmed constantly difficult.
Speaking to The Mirror, she said: ‘I found the filming the hardest to deal with. The camera is there when you wake up, it’s there when you go to sleep. I felt like I could never relax. It’s intense.’
Lauren likened it to a mix between Big Brother, Glee and a prison and she didn’t hesitate at all when considering what the worst aspect of the show has been so far, either.
She declared: ‘I definitely think they should get rid of Six Chair Challenge. I found it horrific. But they won’t – it’s too good TV. Imagine if I [had] faint[ed]. Someone would have got a bonus!’
