‘I couldn’t have dreamed this’: Former Liberty X member Kevin Simm is stunned as he’s crowned the winner of The Voice UK 2016
The four finalists – Cody Frost, Jolan, Kevin Simm and Lydia Lucy – faced the ultimate test of their vocal abilities as they competed for The Voice UK winner’s crow
Slightly lost for words, Kevin gushed: ‘I cannot believe it. I am so gratfeul to everyone who has voted for me. I just honestly, I couldn’t have dreamed this, especially at my old age.
‘I’m so grateful to everyone who has made this show such an amazing experience.’
While soul sensation Jolan – who formed a close friendship with the 00’s chart star during their time on Ricky’s team – was disappointed, he was dignified with his parting words.
‘What an amazing man Kevin is as well. I couldn’t wish for anyone better to win it. He’s like an older granddad,’ the 22-year-old told heavily-pregnant Emma Willis and Marvin.
