Flight attendants advise you not to use these 10 things when flying

No one wants to get off a plane feeling numb, headache, or agitated. And what you wear or wear when you get on the plane turns out to be related to feeling satisfied during the journey.

Here are 10 things you shouldn’t use when flying to ensure a smooth and comfortable flight:

1. Contact lenses

The air on a plane is different than on land because the cabin air is constantly circulating and the altitude of the plane causes the humidity to drop. Dry air can be irritating to the eyes, especially for contact lens wearers. So when you sit on the plane, you should use regular glasses.

2. Tight clothes

You should wear comfortable clothes instead of tight jeans or a tight shirt. If you’re on a long flight, tight clothing can increase your risk of deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot that forms in the leg).

The human body tends to inflate at 42,000 feet (~13 km) in the air. So tight clothes will create discomfort as if they are a second skin on you.

3. Metal accessories

Metal can show up in unexpected places like shoes, gum wrappers, and underwires in women’s bras. If you don’t want to waste time at security, pay attention to these details and put them in your carry-on luggage.

4. Wear clothes that are flammable materials

In-flight emergencies are rare, but you should still be better off than against. Cotton and linen are flammable materials you should avoid wearing.

5. High heels

The airport is very large, the floor is slippery, so high heels will hurt your feet. In case of emergency, wobbly shoes won’t do you any good either. In addition, the material that makes high heels does not stretch and often hugs the foot tightly. If you have to sit on a long flight, they will make your feet swell.

6. Not wearing warm enough Mặc

The temperature on board is kept cold so that passengers don’t faint. Because you are only sitting in one place, you will feel the surrounding colder than usual. You should bring a jacket or blanket to promptly adjust the temperature accordingly.

7. Wearing fancy clothes

If you are held at the security gate for some reason, taking off the fancy accessories on your outfit will take a lot of time. In addition, fancy clothes will make it difficult for you to go to the toilet and create a feeling of discomfort when sitting on the chair.

8. Perfume

Not everyone likes the smell of your perfume. Remember that in the cabin, the air is constantly circulating and you are not allowed to open the windows to let the smell out. The smell of your perfume can make other people allergic (due to the ingredients in the perfume) or make someone with asthma uncomfortable.

9. Fabrics that cause itching

There are some fabrics that don’t cause too much itching when you wear them for a short time, but when you are on an airplane, it is different. When flying, you should wear breathable and soft fabrics to avoid chafing or skin irritation.

10. Clothing with offensive slogans or images

If you want your trip to go smoothly, avoid clothing with offensive prints or obscene slogans. Every flight has children, you can’t be sure what people will be upset about so it’s best to dress modestly.
