Elephants run to greet a newly rescued baby elephant

Dok Geaw is one year and nine months old. He is an orphaned child…but it looks like he will not have too much trouble finding a new family.

You can imagine being adopted as a child and as soon as you walk into the house, 5 or 6 grown-ups run at full speed towards you just to say hello drunk.

The elephants immediately fell in love with the new baby and I noticed that ALL adults protect the baby even if they are not the parents.

Watch a whole herd run to greet a new rescued baby elephant, “Dok Geaw”, at Elephant Nature Park.
