The 9-year-old is joined on stage by Alesha Dixon and his mum after he breaks down in tears during his first performance of Beyoncé’s ‘Listen’.
After words of comfort from Dixon, the Got Talent crowd and his mum, Malaki returns to deliver a strong rendition of the Beyoncé hit, which earns him a standing ovation.
Smiling Simon : “I’ve got to tell you, what I like about you – you’re brave, you know. You got off to a bad start but you picked yourself up and people are going to like you a lot.”
Speaking to Ant & Dec backstage afterwards, Malaki admits that he is “proud” of himself for pulling through the audition and completing the song.
