This classic song was originally written in 1941 for a musical, but it wasn’t until 1960 that it became the iconic tune it is today. Etta James recorded her own arrangement and the song went straight to number one.
Even decades later, ‘At Last’ continues to be played and covered regularly by other artists around the world. And whenever you listen to those famous lyrics, it really takes you back to another time and place.
Today, young Margaux is performing this classic during her audition for Sweden’s Got Talent. From the very first note, I knew this was going to be an incredible performance. She may be young but this girl has a big voice.
In fact, Margaux hit every note perfectly and even added a bit of personality to the performance. No wonder all the judges gave her warm comments. But I don’t think anyone was more shocked than Margaux when one of the judges rang the golden bell that sent her straight to the next round.
