Anna McLuckie, 17, made history on The Voice UK as the first contestant to play the harp in the blind audition.
On her harp, Anna played a folk versi
on of “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk. Coach Ricky Wilson was immediately delighted with his voice and turned his chair in awe of his performance.
Ricky reached out to signal that Will.i.am shouldn’t touch his button because he wanted this artist by his side. Despite this, Will.i.am pressed his button on the final note of the song.Tom Jones said his cover was “1000 times better” than the original album. Although Will.i.am turned around late, he promised he would help him with music selection in subsequent rounds.
Ricky was smiling as he spoke to Anna, and it was obvious that her distinct voice was hitting him. Unexpectedly, Anna chose Will.I.am, which broke Ricky’s heart.
