More than two decades after topping the charts, Michael Jackson’s iconic song, “Heal The World,” just got a stunning new remake. Incredible cover performed by 45 child prodigies from around the world. As you watch these young geniuses play instruments such as violins, harps, electric guitars, drums and tabla alongside musical choirs, you’ll be smiling all the way.
One of the younger prodigies is 13-year-old Indian-American rapper Sparsh Shah “Purhythm” of Iselin, New Jersey. Sparsh, who suffers from brittle bone disease, went viral earlier this year thanks to a cover of Eminem’s song “Not Afraid”. The boy in a wheelchair has a talent and passion for life that has inspired millions around the world. Sparsh and others like him have made this tribute to the King of Pop truly amazing to watch.
The Michael Jackson tribute track was released by Mumbai, India-based band Maati Baani on Michael Jackson’s birthday, honoring the legendary musician and inspiring us all to help heal the world in which we live.
The partnership was conducted entirely online over a nine-month period through Skype rehearsals. Each young musician was sent a piece of the song they had recorded and sent back to Matti. The visionary then stitched the video together to get the amazing results we see
