Contestant Ruby, 13, took to the stage to perform for coaches Will.i.am, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and Paloma Faith. Viewers of The Voice Kids UK were left emotional and very impressed by one performance on the show on Saturday night.
She took a “risk” by singing one of Paloma’s own songs, after confessing she wanted her to turn her chair for her.Ruby chose Lullaby by Paloma and Sigala, but decided to mix it up.She sang a slowed down piano version of the summer hit, and Paloma immediately recognised the track.After initially holding off, Paloma turned for the singer and was the only one to do so.
Paloma was super impressed by Ruby’s vocals, as were those tuning in at home.As a stunned Ruby couldn’t believe her luck at getting the coach she had hoped for, she was even more shocked by what happened next Paloma suddenly asked if she could perform the track with her, before joining her on stage.
