Ever wondered what Marilyn Monroe would do in the era of dating apps? Well, wonder no more – Suzie Kennedy is here with the answers….
In her audition she joked that in the Inland Revenue thirty years were seven years and two months. She then did a piece on finding it difficult to get a date as she looked like a woman who had been dead for fifty years. She then stated that she had joined a dating app and wrote a song about her life within a dating app which was in turn a parody of I Wanna Be Loved By You by Marilyn Monroe.
Midway through her second she asked Simon if he had ever been on a dating app before stating that she’d definitely swipe left on him, before then changing to swiping right. Simon then asked which one was the good one as she stated that she didn’t know whether left or right were good as she drove on the left hand side of the road.
She then concluded that the worst thing about dating were that she did not actually speak like Marilyn Monroe in real life, before then switching to speaking in her real voice. She advanced onwards to the following round, however she failed to reach the Semi-Finals.
Watch as this sultry songstress puts into music, the trials and tribulations of online dating… with hilarious results!
