The version of “Skinny Love” that Rita Laranjeira brought to the stage of The Voice PT 2020, in the 3rd round of Blind Evidence, left the mentors surrendered.
Rita Laranjeira is one of the contestants in this 8th edition of The Voice Portugal. She was born on March 3, 2005 in Sintra, the city where she lives. Since the age of nine, she has been at the Lisbon Conservatory, studying violin, choir, orchestra and musical training. He occasionally joined the Lisbon Youth Choir at the São Carlos National Theater and several concerts at the Coliseu dos Recreios and the Belém Cultural Center.
Her passion for music made her sign up for The Voice Portugal, competing in the Blind Proofs with the theme “Skinny Love”, an original by Birdy. Her felt and extraordinary interpretation made her easily overturn the chairs of the four mentors, and Diogo Picarra was blocked, not being able to be chosen. Her vocal ability made the other three mentors fight for the singer and Rita Laranjeira decided to stay in Aurea’s team, moving on to the next stage, the Battles.
