The information was shared by the Korean Ambassador to Ukraine on March 1. The ambassador posted a photo of Lee Young-ae’s post along with a check and her donation letter.
In the letter, actress Lee Young-ae wrote: “Dear citizens of Ukraine. I’m actor Lee Young-ae in Korea. As a member of a warrior’s family, I feel the cruelty and pain of war. I sincerely hope that the war will end soon so that peace will return, and I pray for peace for the citizens of Ukraine.”
At the end of the letter, actress Lee Young-ae said: “Ukrainian citizens who love freedom and peace, may you always be full of hope and courage! As a peace-loving Korean citizen, even with little effort, I still hope to share my sincere heart with everyone in Ukraine. May God always protect you.”
