The hopeful Jason Brock in Let It Shine received a standing ovation in the opening episode from the judges – but BBC One’s new talent show left viewers confused.
Led by singer-songwriter Take That and former X Factor mentor Gary Barlow – who sat on the jury alongside Dannii Minogue, Martin Kemp and musical star Amber Riley – Let It Shine is off to a great start. Great that Barlow tops off for the intro.
The show ended strongly as usual for the music scene, Jason – who says he starred in Michael Jackson’s Thriller – introduced Whitney Houston’s classic Run To You, which was loved by the judges. like. was scratching her head about the goal of the series and the ‘confusing’ star system for ranking the actors.
