HunterGirl returned to the stage on Monday night (April 25) to perform in front of a studio audience in a new version of American Idol, delivering a Dolly Parton classic.
As one of three national finalists still vying for the crown, she represented her genre peers with another national hit in her performance. Singing “9 to 5” by Parton, HunterGirl has a tall order, but she’s proven she’s up for the challenge.
For his moment to shine, HunterGirl donned a sequined jacket and a matching dress and commanded the crowd with her stage presence. She sings the lyrics of classical country tunes while being supported by a group of background singers. Her energy is so contagious that Luke Bryan can’t help but sing and dance along to the cover.
