13-Year-Old Evie Clair Dedicates Heartbreaking Song To Her Dad Just Days After His Death
Evie Clair was a finalist on America’s Got Talent and dedicated every performance to her ailing father, Amos Abplanalp.Amos Abplanalp passed away a few days ago from stage 4 colon cancer. Despite facing her tragic loss, Evie still wanted to sing for her father again.
She shared a message on Twitter to mourn her father, which read: “I will forever miss my sweet Dad and cherish the last moments I spent with him, holding his hand. That’s it, before it ends. I love you so much!”
She stood in the middle of the stage and began singing “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. She used all her strength to perform, knowing that her father was looking down on her.
Evie sang softly with her eyes closed as the audience watched as she dedicated this final performance to her father all she had. The crowd fell silent, listening to Evie’s emotional tribute. Finally, the 13-year-old finished her heartbreaking cover and the crowd erupted to cheer for her.
Just being there that day took a lot of bravery and dedication. There’s no doubt her dad would have been proud of her.
