Looks like we’re talking about celebrities decades behind. Here is an 8-year-old girl from Chisinau, who started singing before she spoke. After dozens of international festivals in which she has successfully participated, recorded songs and photo sessions for various brands, Evelina Rusu says firmly:
“I strive to sing with all my heart, and I have no emotions, because I offer them with great pleasure to the public.” We talked to the girl’s mother, Natalia Rusu, about how they discovered the girl’s talent and what path she has taken so far to achieve these results.
It is said that talent is a profession you are born with, not one you are going to learn. This statement is also valid for Evelina, as I discovered her talent from an early age, around 1-2 years old. She had great musical potential, expressiveness in her movements and excellent rhythm for her age. Thus, at the age of 3, we decided to enroll her in a music studio. The choice was a very successful one, although she was the youngest in the group, the little girl had wonderful results.

Later, at the age of 4, the singing teacher also entrusted her with solo songs. And so slowly, we came to participate in international festivals, from just 5 years old. Evelina has been a student at the “Talents by Rodica Roșioru” Studio for almost 4 years. And thanks to the work and harmonious cooperation between teacher and student, today we live the satisfaction of a fulfilled dream, to learn from the best.
From the age of 5 until now, when she is already 8 years old, Evelina is the owner of several Grand Prix and I places. She has participated in more than 16 famous international music festivals in: Germany, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Malta. He was practically the first child in the country who, at such a young age, represented the country with pride and dignity, with spectacular results, and her performances were much appreciated by the international jury.
In addition to the beautiful results, which she obtained at the Competitions, Evelina also enjoys great success on the internet. Thus, on her cover “Mamma Maria”, on Youtube, she has over 71 million views. This cover was greeted and received with great joy, even by the authors of the song, the legendary Italian music, Ricchi e Poveri, who distributed and recommended on their official page, Evelina’s video.
Evelina is a sweet and very intelligent girl, she has participated in numerous TV and radio shows, enjoying success. Recently, she was honored with an invitation, which you can only dream of, to participate in the International Conference, in honor of the famous Italian composer “Cristiano Minellono at 75” – a very beautiful opportunity that gave Evelina the opportunity to to talk to the author of the song “Mamma Maria” himself, giving her questions and singing them as she knows best. The master was very enthusiastic about Evelina’s performance and told her that he was following her evolution closely and that she had a promising future.
Apart from music, Evelina is also passionate about modeling. And up to 5 years old, she managed to finish the courses of the Modeling and Acting School by Inga Ojog, within Artico, being a model with proper documents. In the spring of 2018, she had the happy opportunity to participate as a model, in the most famous fashion show in Romania, namely “Bucharest Fashion Week 2018”, representing with great success, the brands in our country. Her first photo shoot was for a local magazine, she was 2 and a half years old at the time. She posed with her brother Damian, who was only 2 months old. Now her pictures have been selected by American fashion magazines and published in America.
Being already a student, she obviously gives first place to her studies, although singing lessons are also the order of the day. We believe that when there is joy and enthusiasm for what you do, you combine them all harmoniously. Of course, later receiving satisfaction from the fruit of your work.
Evelina is a very responsible child and is “involved” in what she does. That’s always been the case. And absolutely all music decisions belong to him. We, as parents, always support her. Having such a great love for music, she feels perfect, and her outings on stage are a real joy for her.
