Bars & Melody – Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act | Britain’s Got Talent

A teenager from Frampton Cotterell made it through to the Britain’s Got Talent live final as part of the Bars and Melody duo.

Singer Charlie Lenehan, 15, appeared on numerous daytime TV shows and occupied countless columns in the national press after he and his rapper friend Leondre Devries won the hearts of the jury for their reworked version of the hit song. Twista and Faith Evans, Hope in their first audition.

Leondre’s lyrics added an anti-bullying message to their performance, eliciting a standing ovation from the studio audience.
Simon Cowell was impressed and pushed the Golden Buzzer, meaning the boys went straight through the live shows.

The duo performed their take on the classic R&B hit Puff Daddy / P Diddy I’ll Be Missing You on Thursday night’s show, including an emotional rap they themselves wrote about losing friends. or family.

Cowell said, “The message was awesome and what I love about you is that you are real. I’m so glad I hit the Golden Buzzer.”
