Judges apologize for disqualifying an artist before seeing her final work
When America’s Got Talent became a hit on US television, other countries began to follow by creating their own versions of the show. After all, the United States is not the only country with talented individuals, but its talent pool is sometimes very different in nature from those of those abroad. Currently, at Swiss’s Got Talent, an artist is making waves online not only because of her incredible skills but also because of the way the judges reacted. Corinne Sutter is a Swiss artist specializing in caricature portraiture. For her audition, she began painting portraits of one of the judges, Gilbert Gress, under time pressure. Sutter had only a few seconds to captivate the judges, but one by one, they pressed the red button, denying her further progress to the next round.
But the artist continued to move on, even as all four judges voted her off the stage and out of the competition. Just seconds before finishing the portrait, she turned it upside down and blew a layer of powder on top.
And then everyone saw: The final piece was an intricate caricature of another judge, Bligg Zusammen! The final product wowed everyone and they gave her a standing ovation!
