This is the adorable moment an American tourist experienced a close encounter with a baby elephant during a trip to Thailand.
Footage shows Jane Hight McMurry cuddling the baby elephant as they both lie on the ground. At some point, the elephant grabbed McMurry’s leg. She crawled to escape but mischief knocked her down and wouldn’t let her go. McMurry, who describes himself as a professional speaker and author, writes:
” I went to Thailand’s northern jungle on a one-day adventure to ride alone and bare-horse. ” The elephant chosen for me is a new mother elephant.
McMurry, who is based in Wilmington, North Carolina, added it was important for me to ‘get to know’ her calf before we started. ”
