Adam Lambert – Performing “Believe” by Cher – 41st Annual Kennedy Center Honors

In honor of the queen diva during the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors, Queen’s frontman Adam Lambert took to the stage to perform “Believe,” turning the 1998 dance bopper into a life-changing ballad.

The ceremony honoring Reba McEntire, composer Philip Glass, jazz saxist Wayne Shorter and Broadway’s Hamilton, took place earlier this month but was finally aired on Wednesday.

In Lambert’s remix, the camera panned to capture the audience’s reactions. The members of Hamilton found to be moving to the beat of the music are Hamilton members, but it’s Cher’s reaction that really matters. The pop diva was seen wiping her tears at what the former American Idol contestant did on that stage.

Here’s a cover of “Believe” that made Cher cry.
