Sammy made headlines on the internet after her bottle flipping skill was posted on Facebook, and now she’s here to show Ellen how it’s done. Prepare to meet the cutest little virus star ever!
Sam is the daughter of Matt Rogers, a former “American Idol” contestant and host of “Summer Camp” on the US network, who recently posted a video on Facebook of Sam flipping a bottle. The video went viral overnight.
“I saw that and I said ‘Bring her to me,'” Ellen said on Friday’s show. Ellen’s studio audience burst into laughter when Sam, like any 2-year-old, walking around the stage, clapping and sipping from Ellen’s water, however, unlike most 2-year-olds, Sam had some special medical challenges.
Disney’s Babble.com, which posted the viral video, explains the toddler’s condition: “Two years ago, Sam was born with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that negatively affects the lungs, as well as the pancreas, liver, and other major organs. “
