Brooke Simpson toppled the judges with her “America’s Got Talent” audition of Lizzo’s “Cuz I Love You” and raised the bar for her comeback on Tuesday for the quarter-finals.
Simpson, who was coached by Miley Cyrus when she appeared on season 13 of “The Voice,” sang Billie Eilish’s “Lost Cause”, and the performance instantly became a star of the night.
Not only did Simpson win a standing ovation from all four judges, but she also managed to put a smile on the notoriously critical judge once known as “Mr. Bad”.
