Fernando Daniel is one of the biggest successes to come out of The Voice Portugal. He auditioned for the fourth season of the show with Adele’s “When We Were Young” and was later crowned the winner. Everything came full circle for Fernando who is now a coach on The Voice Kids Portugal
. He pulled off a very special Blind Audition for one of his biggest fans, singing the same song as his original audition.
Contestant Nuna Rosa auditioned for The Voice Kids with one of Fernando’s songs “Tal Como Sou.” Fernando was honored that Nuna chose to sing one of his songs. While Nuna’s Blind Audition put a smile on all of the coach’s faces, none of them turned their chairs. Nuna spoke about being a huge fan of Fernando after the performance.
Coach Marisa Liz decided that Nuna should sit in Fernando’s chair and pretend that it is a real Blind Audition. She requested that Fernando sing “When We Were Young” the song that made him famous on The Voice Portugal with over 103 million views on YouTube 2016.
