Don’t Let The Angelic Face Fool You – This Little Girl’s “Whole Lotta Love” Cover Packs A Serious Punch | Society Of Rock Videos
10-year-old drumming prodigy Johanne Astrid Poulsen is the winner of Denmark’s Got Talent 2017. She rocked her way from audition to final by jamming classics like “Killing in the” Name” by Rage Against the Machine and “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin.
Johanne’s audition took the form of a mediation, where she sent the judges of Denmark’s Got Talent into a frenzy after launching “Killing in the Name”. The young lady’s strength and precision are certainly impressive, but it was her performance of “Whole Lotta Love” that proved she was a serious driving force behind that kit.
The young drummer playing John Bonham’s parts really shows the depth of his skill. Her work on cymbals and toms goes well beyond her years, sure to make drummers twice or triple her age the envy of.
Johanne’s last song for Denmark’s Got Talent was “Bad Craziness” by Danish rock band D-A-D. According to TV2, she didn’t expect to win, but she did, taking home 250,000 Danish kroner (about $35,700). “I hope I will be able to play many other places or join a real band. I haven’t really thought about it yet, but I just knew I had to play the drums when I grew up,” says Johanne Astrid.
